The Radio Art Residency Weimar has been running for two years, offering events, radio shows, workshops and four broadcasts on Deutschlandfunk Kultur. We would like to celebrate the occasion with this publication, featuring four of the artists we hosted in the period from 2021 to 2022.

The residency is an international fellowship program for artists whose practices engage with the radio. It is a joint project by the Goethe-Institut and Experimental Radio at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, in cooperation with the University of Music Franz Liszt, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, EIGENHEIM Weimar/Berlin and ACC Galerie Weimar.

The program offers a three-month residency in Weimar twice a year to artists from countries where German is not the native language.

The artists 2021–22: Masimba Hwati, Marialuisa Capurso, Agustin Genoud and Florencia Curci, Warrick Swinney.

I coordinated the residency, worked daily with the artists, edited the publication and was part of the jury.
